The Molded Products Division of WMG Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager for our Autoplas manufacturing operation in Bellevue, OH. Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring conformance to quality systems and for engaging and driving continual improvement.
  • Responsible for leading, managing and directing the activities of the plant Quality Department as well as engaging in continuous improvement projects with other departments and plants.
  • IATF Plant Lead responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards within the facility.
  • Establishes and maintains consistent quality operating procedures and documentation.
  • Responsible for quality reporting timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ensures quality system integrity by departmental involvement in APQP, customer and supplier issues.
  • Establishes and maintains positive customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction. Tracking of key customer indicators, follow-up, analysis, and reporting.
  • Manages the corrective action process ensuring a timely customer response; driving closure as well as ensuring the quality of the responses to prevent recurrence.
  • Leads the coordination and submission of accurate PPAP documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates and maintains the metrology program

Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
  • Certification or advanced degree in Quality Management or Quality Systems preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a quality management leadership role with responsibility for the quality department.
  • Experience with APQP and PPAP processes
  • Experience with development of FMEA and control plans
  • Ability to review an analyze dimensional reports
  • Full understanding of SPC and ability to apply to manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of MSA
  • Quality Auditing and training experience
